Great information tonight. It’s fun how some of the content I heard in class will magically come together to make more sense after collaborating with you NLPeeps.
Tonight, my biggest takeaway (Or put together?) was “your projection is your perception.” As we talked about getting the “No.” and after trying it on I noticed what my state would have to be to get a No vs. what state I’d have to get a Yes! (based on my past encounters.)
So, the state I have when approaching someone and my clarity level in my desired outcome would be my projection? and how I view my results would be my perception? So, if I didn’t get my desired outcome, I’d have to look at what I am projecting and the state I was in to project it. Then I can make the proper adjustments. I guess getting a “NO” could simply mean, adjust your state and become more aware of (Values, beliefs, desires etc…)
I’ve heard many times how actors have to “Project” the character they’re playing to connect with and convince the audience.
To focus on Projecting my desired results by using and maintaining my state, confident, aware, and clear on what I want create. Use any feedback to adjust my state. Also, to be aware of, connect with and convince my audience. I’m now seeing this as a good way to either get what I want or become aware of the areas I can change or improve on within myself.
I’d love to hear different perceptions of this. I feel like having this awareness can keep us accountable with our results.
